Subscriptions Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract (the “Agreement”) that governs the “Tajine qui parle” subscription services provided by TAJINE QUI BRILLE (SARL) (“we”, “our”) to you (“you” or “yours”).

Our subscription services are offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein. We also have other policies and procedures including our Privacy Policy. Those policies contain additional terms and conditions, which apply to our subscription services and are integral part of this Agreement.


1. The “Tajine qui parle” subscription services

Our subscription services are additional services such as audio content that we provide to users in a form of subscription. You can find the features, and content included in our subscriptions on our website We reserve the right to modify, terminate or otherwise amend our offered features, subscription plans and promotional offerings at any time.

Our subscription service requires payment before you can access it (“Paid Subscription”). We may, at our own discretion offer multiple types of Paid Subscriptions and reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend features included in any of the Paid Subscriptions at any time.

When you purchase your selected Paid Subscription, you will have access to any Subscription Service item or content currently available within that Paid Subscription for the period you have chosen for your Paid Subscription. We may decide to periodically update the Subscription Services features, or content made available in the Paid Subscription, and some of our subscription services features or content may either become unavailable or be made available for free when this happens.

2. Access to subscriptions and eligibility

Our subscription services are available to users who have registered their accounts by truthfully filling out all required personal information and become members. You agree to take full responsibility for your selection and use of the our subscription services.

We may change, modify, suspend or discontinue our subscriptions, fees, charges, terms at our own discretion at any time, including the availability of any feature or content. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of our subscriptions without notice or liability.

3. Using our Subscription Services

Our subscription service and any feature or content that is made available through the subscription service (the “Content”) are the property of TAGINE QUI BRILLE (SARL). We grant you limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to make use of our subscription service, and limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to make personal use of the features and Content (collectively, “Access”). This Access shall remain in effect until your Paid subscription terms ends and/or Access is terminated by you or us.

You are solely responsible for keeping your account password secure so that no third parties apart from you have access, use and utilize the Subscription Services. You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use

4. Access to audio content with our audio subscriptions

All currently active (not expired) audio paid subscribers have access to all available audio on the site. Not all pages or dictionary entries have audio available.

The audio will be available to be listened to for an unlimited numer of times throughout the period of the subscription when clicking on a speaker icon (where available). When the subscription period ends, access to audio content will also cease, until you choose to renew and pay for another subscription period of your choice.

We do not make the audio files downloadable for use off-line. All audio on the site can only be listened to when connected to the site.

5. Quality of audio content

We make every effort to add audio to the site that is of good quality by using a high quality microphone, editing out background noise, making several recordings of the same word or phrase and only selecting the best one, however we cannot guarantee that the quality of audio will always meet your specific expectations.

There is sometimes a small delay between first clicking on the speaker icon and hearing the audio which can be longer when using mobile phones. This is generally much reduced the second time or subsequent times that the same icon is clicked on.

6. Interruptions to our service (downtime)

We cannot guarantee 100% uptime and during the times when the site is down (not available to connect to), the subscriber will not be able to access any audio on our site. This may occur for the following reasons:

– Server maintenance: We have no control over when or for how long our website hosting provider may make our website temporarily unavailable to complete various maintence tasks on their servers but this is, in our experience, very infrequent and usually lasts for less than two hours at a time.

– Site maintenance: We occassionaly need to put our website into “maintenance mode” for the purpose of updating or improving elements of the site or testing elements of the site for potential technical issues, when that might affect the functioning of the site. We try to only put the site into maintenance mode when necessary and only for necessary updates or important improvements that will improve the users’ experience of using our site.

– Site/Server errors: It is very rare, but sometimes a change or update on our site can have un unexpected effect on the server such as an effect on the physical memory used by the server which could lead to an error message and to the site being temporarily unavailable. If this occurs we will endeavor to resolve the problem as quickly as possible to make the site (and its audio content) available for your use.

7. Payment

Payment for subscriptions can be made by credit or debit card. If you would like to subscribe and cannot pay by this method, please contact us to discuss alternative payment methods (e.g. by bank transfer or by Moroccan cheque).

Payments by credit or debit card are processed immediately via a third party payment processor over a secure link. No card details are held by us. When you make a payment online, a receipt of payment (paid invoice) for all credit or debit card payments will be made available to you to download from the “My Account” page which you can access from the menu when logged in to our site and you will also receive an order confirmation by e-mail.

8. Returns

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time by contacting us; however, there are no refunds for cancellation, and you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for any unused time left on your subscription period.

By subscribing to our audio subscriptions you confirm that you (a) agree to immediate provision of the digital service; and (b) acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel and receive a full refund. This complies with the exception to the 14-day cancellation period for digital content subscription services i.e. you lose this right if you elect to access the digital content during the 14-day cancellation period.

There is no free trial period but we recommend that you try out our free membership as a way to test out the system for accessing audio content and to test out the quality of the audio available before committing to a paid subscription.

9. Limitations of Liability

You understand that our Subscription Services are provided “as is,” with all faults and without any kind of warranty (express or implied).

You agree to use our subscription services solely at your own risk, and understand that we do not guarantee the results of using our subscription services meeting your expectations or our subscription services being secure or available at any particular time or location.
